We work closely with, and have a similar membership to, the General Practitioners’ Sub-Committee of NHS Grampian’s Area Medical Committee.  The GP Sub-Committee has two main statutory functions:

 

• To provide advice on the operation of general medical services;

• To advise the Area Medical Committee (the general function of the AMC is to advise the Health Board on the provision of NHS services)

 

The GP Sub-Committee Acting Chairperson is Dr Linda Downie and the Acting Deputy Chairperson is Dr Robert Lockhart.
